Hey people -- what do you think about having an integrated markup utility in Revit that works like the AutoCAD products?

E.g.: you print a multisheet DWF from Revit > someone marks it up in DWF Composer > you get the DWF back, open it up in Revit and it shows up in place so you can complete the changes

I'm of two minds about it -- it's a nice feature, but not absolutely necessary. I'd prefer they work on growing Revit's geometric capabilities.

    No way.

DWF's from Revit are very lame at the moment.
I would like to see other things like better site tools (yes, I'm having another 'I hate the site tools provided' day today) and the rest of my wishlist resolved before they go anywhere near DWF markups.

I'd rather see better PDF interoperability...

I'd Prefer more work on Revit than DWF - I have manged for a long time without DWF, but there are some other things I have waited a long time to see.... I suspect that more DWF stuff will probably be pushed in though - anyway we do all our mark ups on paper, as tablet PC's are not big enough yet but I dont see that it is all that important to link the DWF into revit though even if we did do mark ups on DWF???

...as far as markup's go - I'd rather see a stystem inside of Revit to reack makup/addendum/revisions. This I'm sure would be a much more elegant solution.

I would rather see the Redline tool as a function of Revit in Demo mode. For example, I could send my model to my engineer (who would download the Demo and see what a great program it is) and he could open the model and add comments and redlines. Most of the people who I send DWF's and PDF's to don't need to redline and the people who need to redline would benefit from seeing the whole model and not just a few sheets.

Until Revit is as ubiquitous as Acad among my consultants I want a redline tool that doesn't require me to "print" every time I want to discuss work.
