I'm running AutoCAD 2006 and having problems with my Open Dialog Box. For some reason my folders are not showing up on the left hand side of the box. Has anyone else had this happen to them before and if so how did you fix it.

It's called the places list. Can you click on the TOOLS portion of the open dialog and select "add current folder to places"?
I've tried that and nothing is working. I'm really lost without it. I had it set to have all our current job folders on there and now I have to find drawings the old fashion way.Originally Posted by scott.wilcox
Perhaps an install/repair may fix the issue. Could be a corrupt file somewhere.Originally Posted by damon
Does the places list reappear if you chance profiles? I think the list is stored in each profile.

I see a places list in my Office 2003 programs as well. Do you see it in Word or Excel?
I have Office 97 so that doesn't show on mine. My company is just too cheap to buy new software untill they have to.Originally Posted by scott.wilcox
This worked! Thank you to both of you for the help.Originally Posted by timcreary
