Symbolic Lines in Shafts not showing up in Detail Views?

Draw a Shaft, add Symbolic Lines to represent the duct inside and the typical "X". Create a Detail View of this and not only do the Symbolic Lines not show up but neither do the Shaft lines... hmmm.

Is this how it's supposed to be? Is there something I'm not doing? I can get them to appear in a Floor Plan view but we've already got everything called out with Detail Views and placed on sheets.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Did you create the shaft as a family or a detail component? Check the visibility settings for the symbolic lines. Are they turned off in coarse/medium/fine view?

Interesting. Looks like a bug to me. The shaft is selectable - just not visible. I can use the detail line tool and use pick to place new detail lines. If I make a floor plan callout, rather than a detail callout, the shaft shows up correctly.
