There are some excellent seamless spherical skies on this site. I think the ones that are a little less dramatic in terms of lighting and clouds work best for architectural renderings. One or two skies are all that you really need, and at $5.00 each the price is right!
An interesting side note. I couldn't find a really good match for the sky in my area so I sent Johannes (a creator of these skies) a photo of the sky from my window here in Santa Barbara. Based on my photo he created a beautiful seamless spherical sky. He ended up calling it "Santa Barbara Sky" in his collection.

I didn't make the spherical sky. I'm not sure how it is done. I do know that you can't just apply a flat sky picture to a dome in Revit without it looking all wrapped. You need to start out with an actual spherical sky map.
I tried that also, and upon rendering, it produced tiled images. Increasing the tile size made the image very poor quality. Maybe it's time to really try harder to learn Viz.

Unless you are a student and don't have a nickle to your name, why don't you just buy a couple of pre-made spherical skies? Then you can stop messing around with this and go back to working on projects that are billable
I WAS using a royalty-free spherical, smarty!
BTW, it vcame from this forum.

And the problem persists regardless. Now, what can be done about it?

I assume your walkthrough is a raytraced image. Simply go to enviornment settings, background, select a spherical sky and so designate projection as spherical. Your walk through image settings will affect the resolution of the sky as any other material would be affected. I ran a quick AVI but its still 4 megs so I won't post it. If you need more info PM me.
