Post Change leader arrowheads to "right angle" arrows, causes a gap to appear...

    Hi folks,

I've come across a drawing that has closed arrowheads on the leader lines. When I change them to "right angle" arrows, there is a gap now between the end of the leader line and the arrow. I know I've seen this problem before and can't remember how to fix it.

    Can someone help?

    Thanks!
    Marv

    Hi

Could you please post an example drawing file that demonstrates the behaviour you have described above, they say a picture is worth a thousand words - plus it would help me understand exactly what is going on.

    Have a good one, Mike

Only some of the things I think may cause this is:

    1. when copy/pasting dimension styles between files. Somewhere in the process autocad failed to transfer along relevant data.

    2. you do a Laydel commad and the layer the leader was created (linked) was permanently removed along with certain line objects.

    FIX:
    1. move all to another file which contain prestine right angle arrowhead.
2.edit right angle arrowhead block to replace the line.
    3. create custom arrowhead.

Thanks - I have done these things. I was wondering if there was a quick-fix, variable, whatever, that got hosed.

Attached in the drawing. I have binded the xref.

    Thanks!

    Hi.

It looks as though the block _Open90 has been redefined. Inserting the attached file should solve the problem.

You're right! I did redefine it recently. I inserted the one I did and it worked fine.

Thanks a lot for the help!!
