    Default ADT File Sharing

    Group;

I just created this FTP site connection for sharing ADT content on my web site.

I recently created a 3D structural framing catalog and uploaded it to the catalog folder for everyone to use. Please let me know if you have any problems getting it to work.

    Host name- precisiondraftingllc.com

    User Name- adt@precisiondraftingllc.com

    Password- filesharing

Please feel free to upload any ADT content that is worth sharing. Also don't forget to mention it in this thread to let everyone know about it.

That's pretty neat. Can you tell me what you did to set up the ftp site? Is there a resource on the net for it? I'm looking to do this for my company.

Trying to acces your site, but link isn't working. Suggestions?

I got the FTP site from my host provider (IpowerWeb). You can get the same from any host provider I believe. Once you have a web site that is hosted by a provider, you can have acces to your FTP site like this. You will just have to activate it by creating a user account, password and folder.

I use Filezilla to access my FTP site and it's FREE. Once you install the FTP viewer program, you will be able to use the log in information to access the files. Some people are able to view the FTP site with their Internet explorer; but i haven't figured out how to do that as of yet.

I'm having some minor problems with this catalog as told to me by someone who has tried it out. I will soon have it corrected once I figure out what I'm doing wrong first.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I corrected and re-created the 3D framing member catalog and uploaded it to my FTP site last night.

In IE6, enter the URL in the address bar, prefixing with ftp:// instead of http://, then right click and selct "Login As", that should get you in if the site is a standard FTP site on port 21.

Posted up some Metric Fire Rated Partition Walling styles that I created a month or so ago, mainly core boarding, but with endcaps and stuff.

    Great thanks for sharing.

I probably should have created imperial and metric folders.
I will do that and move your files to the metric part.

I would really love to see some custom railing and stair styles.
Does anyone have any they could share?

Another Canadian using the imperial system. I thought Canada used metric.

Anyway you need to add the catalog to the content browser and publish it.

When you publish the catalog it should give you an option to select a path for all dependent styles. This is where you should select the following path and have the dependent files copied to this location.

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Autodesk\ADT 2007\enu\Styles\Imperial
