Question Drawing list between multiple Revit projects

    Hi all,

We are currently in the process of designing two buildings that are part of a part of the same project. We have a separate file for each building. This might sound a little weird, but we have linked each building to an architectural file to create the roof, walls, and other elements that would clutter up the structural drawings. Now, after all is said and done, we have four drawings. Is there a way to link them all together to create a master drawing list for the entire project? I tried importing the files to a new project, but the drawings lists and other schedules don't seem to come with the drawing. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Cheers

I don't believe there is an automatic way to do this. One of our clients creates blank sheets that match our structural sheet naming and numbering in their model to accomplish this. It's the only way I've seen it done.

You can link all the files into one master file, and create a drawing index. Just be sure to check the "Include elements in linked drawings" in the drawing index schedule properties.

Thanks Scott! I'm going to forward this one on to my architectural clients, they'll be thrilled....
