AutoCAD 2005 - Losing commands, JIT debugging message appears

Hi all,

For some reason I keep loosing some commands most notably the Layer command where I get the JIT screen come up (see attached). I have just done a repair from the ACAD CD.
The commands sometimes come back but more often I need them and can reset but just closing down and reopening CAD.

Acad 2005. ( I want 2007)

Any help would bee appreciated.

don't repair - uninstall and reinstall a fresh copy

I have now reinstalled CAD, and was just on the point of getting back to you to say everything was OK when the layer command stopped working again.

Just about to get the full problem text and it started working again???

Is this just in time programme part of Cad or Window?

To be honest I Don't know or now how to find out.

I think you have problems with the windows system .Scan your system and try again to install ACAD 2005.

Have you tried invoking the JIT debugging? It says to see the end of the message (or box or whatever... it's on the bmp) to see how to do that. I'd try that first to see what you get next time.

Was just on Microsoft .net framework 1.1

Have now installed Sp1 for 1.1 and Microsoft .net framework 2 and (fingers crossed) everything seems ok at the moment.
