I am wondering if anyone has a sweep, wall style or mass element that they have used on a model to represent shake / shingle siding?
Is there an easy way to do this?

I'd try to look for more of a material hatch for that. Unless you don't mind something that looks more like lap siding. Lap siding you could do as a sweep.
I have a hatch pattern that shows the shingle siding and a sweep that represents lap siding, is there a viz material that represents shingles?
I think so, but I'm not 100% sure. I thought that was a standard material in ADT. You may have to look thought your material template file. Go to the style manager; pick open; find your material folder and there should be one available. Apply the material to the wall style and you should be set.
This is the material I use for shake siding:
Thermal & Moisture.Roofing and Siding Panels.Siding.Wood.Horizontal.Cedar
You should find it in the Material Definitions drawing in the Styles folder. I had to modify the scale of the surface hatch to get it to look right. Take a look at the attached dwg file to see if it is what you are lookin for...
Good luck..

You are welcome... I'm glad to be able to give a little back when these forums have given me so much...
