Default Curved Precast Concrete Wall with Curtain Wall

I created a curtain wall panel family that consists of an extrusion with a parametric void at the top. The reveals in the panel are also void extrusions with parameters for the bottom reveal height and the distance between the remaining ones.

The panel flexes well in the family file, but when it is loaded in the project and used it as a curtain wall panel in the project, the extrusion doesn't get to the end of the panel.

Can anyone explain why the void extrusion doesn't work the same way in the curtain wall as it did when I created it in the curtain wall panel family? I suspected the curved curtain wall might be to blame, but had the same behavior with a straight curtain wall.

To get the reveal to extend the width of the panel, I've had to add a parameter for the reveal width and crank it up to about 3600.

Attached is the family file and a project with the wall in question.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Hi Bruce,

Your reveal width is being controlled by its own parameter (Width of Reveal) not the panel width. You need to change that parameter to suit the panel width.
If the reveal will always be the same width as the panel I'd suggest eliminating that parameter altogether and just locking the reveal sketch to the panel ref planes.

That's where I started with the family. I only added the reveal width parameter when it wouldn't allow an array of the void with the constraint between the void sketch and the right and left ref planes.

If I extrude the wall panel in the other direction (right to left) and use that profile to define the reveals I think I lose the ability to array the reveals. Plus, I need to add a void to remove the center of the precast panel.

    Any suggestions?

In the Theater Wall.rvt file, when that parameter is set to the 2600, the reveal falls well short of the end of the panel, even though the curtain wall vertical division is set to 2600.
