    Question Using Sheet Manager

    Dear all,

i'm using LDD 2i with survey and civil design. After me generated my plan and profile using sheet manager, it's posibble to cut or explode that sheet so i can use in autocad 2000? because i have to printed that draw in another place that doesnt have LDD installed and i want to have each sheet in different filename. The way i used to be is trim that plan and profile manualy, then frame it one by one and save it in another name, that works is so killing me .

    Thanx

    Yes, under sheet manager
Import all sheets in that series
Then each sheet becomes a new layout tab.
Then export, or publish to what ever
    version of CAD they have.
With the correct Obkect Enablers installed
that should be sufficient for them to work wirh
    the drawings.

Go to Sheet Manager, plan and profile sheets, and select import Sheet Series,
Then under the FILE pull down menu select Export to AutoCad and chose the
destination version the other user needs. Pay heed to the previous message regarding
Proxy Graphics, or some of the ARX objects will not survey the translation process.

I find the export, the file type only for Block(dwg), i guess that because of object enablers thing. i had try that but the main drawing (all big drawing) is copied in model space. i wonder if i can export from paper space (sheet by sheet as u explain) to some model space (sheet by sheet too) in other file. sorry if i disturb u with this stupid question, thx.

unless you are going to release 14
please explain why you would want to single the sheets out?

I have to copy that long plan and alignment of road in cd-rom, that file should had frame for each sheet in model space so anyother cad version can open and plot that. It is not problem if one file had mani sheet, but it should in model space not in paper space. i wish i can explain better or do u mind if i send file for example ? thx

No need to send the files, I believe I see your challenge much clearer now.
I would suggest then that your roadway data (the entire design) be an xref file
in model space when you generate your sheets.
Then with a new blank drawin in your project import (load) only one sheet at a time.
Delete the default layout tabs such that all you have is the sheet manger tab left in that file
and then perform the export to AuoCad operation one at a time until they have all been written out as stand alone files the reference the main design model space information.
