Angle Framing families

Has anyone else had issues with the angle families? The bottom plane dosen't seem to be the bottom of the angle, the top dosen't seem to be the top. the center seem correct, but that's about it.

Can anyone tell me why on earth you would want the anaylitical centroid of an angle used as a reference plane for placement. How do you add this as a deck edge angle? Well one way is to put the angle in, cut a section, use the align tool, the use the align tool again. Then after you get that done, you need to go back and re-adjust the framing that it's attached to.

So then I tried the floor/slab edge/bent pl. The results there are just as disapointing.

I believe the reason it's like that is so it can be used for bracing. You'll need to copy the family and adjust the position of the angle outline to be where you want it. You can just copy the txt file and edit it so the "x" and "y" values are all 0". Or just create a new framing family of your own.

There was an error in the RS3 version of the Angle Family, but it did seem to be somewhat fixed in RS4. Just a heads up. Oh that reminds me, I need to check my family props to make sure my steel weights aren't reduced by a factor of 10 again.
