BATCH DRAWING CONVERTER save_as R14 in Read Only mode

Hi, when I use BATCH DRAWING CONVERTER to save dwg from 2004 to R14, the files become in Read Only mode when opening with R14.
There is no Check mark on Read-Only attribute properties (in Explorer).
I have Windows XP.
I didn't see any option in BATCH DRAWING CONVERTER or in Autocad for this issue.

Is anyone know if it's a bug in BATCH DRAWING CONVERTER? If yes how to fix it?

Not knowing where you are opening these converted files from
I offer this. If from a CD this is typical as most files written to CD
do indicate that they are read only.
If not take a look into this:

ATRIB SYNTAX

Displays or changes file attributes.

ATTRIB [+R | -R] [+A | -A] [+S | -S] [+H | -H] [[drive:][path]filename] [/S]

+ Sets an attribute.
- Clears an attribute.
R Read-only file attribute.
A Archive file attribute.
S System file attribute.
H Hidden file attribute.
/S Processes files in all directories in the specified path.

It's from my C: drive & the attributes are clear.
I think that BATCH DRAWING CONVERTER program has a bug...
