Visibility of nested family- and elevation cut line

I'm having trouble with visibility of a nested family with-in a door family. Essentially, I've created a door family that has two different door panels nested, one with glass and a flush panel. In plan and 3d I have no problem. I also have no problem in elevation until the cut line for the elevation tag is placed close enough to the wall that it passes through the door door swing line work (symbolic/model I've tried both). Then even though the family type is not supposed to display the panel with glass, it does. I would greatly appreciate some help with this. I have attached both the door family and the nested panel families.

See if this doesn't work.

I set up a visibility parameter in each nested family, & saved. Then reloaded the nested families, set up visibility parameters for each door type in the door family, & then set them equal to each panel's visiblity parameter.

Thanks Andrew. I guess I thought using the visibility perameter in the nested family as the control would work..and did to some degree. However, I had some other similar door families which incorporated a void in the nested door panel family. I could not make that work right, and did away with the void and I'm back in business. Thanks again.
