Default Editing upgraded Family Files in Revit 9.1

When we edit a family file in Revit 9.1 that was created in 8.1, we can´t toggle or change any parameters in the family types.
The only solution we found was inserting the family in a project and then we can change family type parameters.

Does anyone has any idea what seems to be the problem?

    We attached an example.
    Thanks
    Ricardo

I think you'll need to update all of the associated family files and reload them into the family for it to work... though why you're able to edit it in the project without loading in the files is beyond me (unless they're shared families in which case that makes sense).

I load the family into the project without any problem. The only problem that I have is when I try to modify my family in the family editor, if I change any parameter in the family it won't react.
