Whats the walk-around to show building outlines (Single Wide Lines) on Site Plan?
We use area plans to show single line on our site plans. To get the exterior doors to display correctly we have those in a seperate workset that we leave on.
Just use model or detail lines. You may want to create a line style for the building outline and lock them to the building wall footprint. Also, remember that model line styles are actually created in the Object Style dialog box under Settings menu and Detail Line Styles are created with the Line Style under Settings menu.
The model or detail line style is the best work around that i have found.
Consider a filled region too, especially now that it can also give you your building area. Then set the fill to whatever you need it to be.

Either a line or a line from a filled region, all you have to do is use the align tool, click on the edge of the wall then the line and as you do that a lock symbol appears (in the unlocked position) click on it and it will show a locked position...
That is if the line is already drawn...but when drawing a line (again as a line or part of the filled region) don't draw the line, but use the "pick" tool found on the option bar (looks like the arrow) and next to it there is there is the offset and a "Lock" toggle...click it to be on...then when you pick the lines on the wall they will automaticaly lock...

Also, if you use a filled region as suggested by David, you do not have to have a hatch pattern (no pattern) fill the region and use whatever line style and pattern best illustrates the property line.
