Default Clear the "recent" sheet sets fly-out menu

    Hello out there,

I'm trying to answer a question that appeared on the French forum, and I wondered if someone could help out finding it a solution:
How can one clear clear the "recent" sheet sets menu from the "open" tab on top of the sheet set manager window?
(I guess that could be useful for the curious ones who like to poke their nose about where it doesn't belong in their office's files....)

Thanks for any answer, that would help me stir the French forum threads a bit...

Perhaps a registry cleaning utility that clears recent files lists would do this?

Hi "Moudjai" ( Sorry, I do not know your real name )

Please note I have *moved* this thread from the AutoCAD Customization forum to this one, as I feel this particular forum is a more appropriate place for such a topic.

    Thanks, Mike

hmmmm, this would be an interesting thing to do when one is troubleshooting new SSM templates and you don't want all the trial/junk recent ones to be visible.
Sometimes, i get lost in my own thoughts and need to ask directions to find my way back.

I don't have Autocad in front of me at the moment, but one idea would be to check in <drive>:\Documents and Settings\<login name>\Application Data\Autodesk\<product>\<version>\<language>\Recent\ and see if there is a directory there that contains those shortcuts. I'll have to check tomorrow.

    Nope, that wasn't it.

I also searched my hard drive for files that contained the name of one of the items in my list and didn't find it there either. Same with the registry.

Where the heck do they store that info? I give up.

Windows maintains most `recent files' lists but I don't use sheet sets so can't swear that that list is the same.

Maybe THIS would be of some help, but what a scary edit (messing with fixedprofile.aws) it would be. I would definitely back it up. It would take someone with more knowledge than I have right now.

I wonder why it didn't show up in my hard drive search?

    Thanks 4 Ur efforts...
I'll try it if I can find a bit of spare time (unless someone interested in the topic finds out how it works before I do...) & I'll do the translation for the French forum...
Or perhaps someone knows a safer way to do it? Or a CAD-geek (God bless the serial-customizers ...) might have written a purpose-made LISP that would do the job?...
    Have a good one

Good point to this thread. AutoCad should dump the recently used sheet set list.
I have some trouble when I accidently click on a recently used set that I have
since deleted. AutoCad loves to freeze up while trying to find the deleted files.
