Is there a way to make a table from mtext and lines?
I have a bill of material with 4 columns and 25 rows.
I need to manipulate the size and do not want to stretch and move lines and text.
A table would be easier to manipulate.

Have you tried using the insert table that comes with 2006?

Is there another way (free) , that is possible to do this?
If not I will just do it with streatch, move, and other basic commands .
Thanks.
I believe there is a wish on the current wish list ballot for this, but right now it is not possible in AutoCADOriginally Posted by tbedrich
I guess if you only have to convert a single small table, then you may have wasted more time on the forum than it would have taken to convert it.Originally Posted by tbedrich
On the other hand, if you will spend more than 2 hours of billable time doing this conversion and possible others down the road, then your boss would save money by purchasing the software, not to mention the other 650+ tools you are getting.

Also I do not think that my boss will buy any software considering that we are STILL on a pier-to-pier network, with files from one job on 3 to 5 computer "shared files". which is real fun to keep up with the latest quote, job descriprion, drawing and correspondence.
So I will keep trudging on, doing things "the way we always have".
