Objects not visible in drawing with xref.

Hi

This is a follow up to an earlier thread of mine where I could see objects in a new drawing created by using xref to link to another drawing. In that case objects appeared in the new drawing which could not be seen in the orignal drawing I had used as the xref.

This time I have objects missing in the new drawing which I can see in the original drawing used as the xref. When I check the new drawing the layers are existing and turned on.

I am now getting slightly confused with these layers.

Can anyone help a simpleton sort this out.

The same thing here that happened to you is hapening to me. Did you ever figure out the problem? Maybe you could give me some clue?

Were these objects that you can not see XREF's? If so they may be in "overlay" mode instead of "attached".

Make sure that your clip planes are turned off within the viewport.

We had a similar problem and clip planes was the issue.
