Default Open DWGs on Windows XP Taskbar

I just got win XP pro with acad06. How do I get my open dwgs to sit on the "tray" or window toolbar?

    thanks

You're welcome. I'd forgotten the variable and I looked it up in the help menu to confirm I knew what I was talking about.

We have been using Docbar from Cadwerx for a couple of years now and would feel lost without it. It displays all open drawings on a small row of tabs across the screen or can also be set to take up more screen space with thumbnails of each drawing.

It used to be free but around the time when AutoCAD 2007 was released they started to charge a small fee for it.

The latest version is much improved and has many nifty functions and options.

you can try dwg manager by caelink it is free and it seems to do the same thing you describe, it places a row of tabs that not only show the drawings that are open, but there is an additional option to show the current project (if you use projects)
