Hello,
We are using plain ACAD2007. We have some files I think were done in Land.
Every time we open these files we get asked for AECCLAND.SHX.
Does anyone know where I might be able to get a copy of AECCLAND.SHX ?
Thank you,
Steve

Yes that is a dwg created in land desktop the shx file comes with the software and is located in the support files directory. Can you contact the person or company who created the dwg to send you the file?Originally Posted by steven.a.chestnut
Also when you open the drawing does it come up with a browse dialogue box asking you to locate the shx file? If so you can just press cancel to load the drawing without this info, it just depends what you need the drawing for.
On another note a nice friendly moderator might want to move this to the LDT forums to get a better response.
Thank you for the info. We no longer have access to the creator of the file. Is it possible for someone to share a copy of AECCLAND.SHX with me? I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Steve
Do you have a reseller nearby? Can you request a trial version of the software from your reseller?Originally Posted by steven.a.chestnut
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

Thank you Mr. Perry,
I appreciate your help and understanding. My vendor file opens with no missing files messages now.
