Question Visibility issue with raster image frames & wipeout frames

We recently upgraded to Autodesk 2007 and since the upgrade I have noticed that sometimes when raster images are placed next to each other (i.e., aerials placed on a grid pattern) and the image frames are turned off, there will be a blank void where the frame was. This shows up not only in model and paper space but in the plotted image as well . A coworker mentioned to me today that he had the same issue, only with a wipeout, where the frame around the wipeout was set to invisible, but the area around the wipeout, where the frame had been, was left blank. Is this a known bug of some sort or is there a setting we need to turn on/off?

Have you checked your IMAGEFRAME system variable. I'm not sure if this is it, but it is an idea.
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

Thanks for the suggestion , but IMAGEFRAME settings didn't solve it either.

Just an idea; something to check:

Is the image frame on a layer that has a lineweight other than 0.0?

Even though it is set to invisible, this could theoretically affect the size of the Wipeout/image.

If I have time later I will experiment.

Thanks for the suggestion . I set all of my raster images to a layer with 0.00mm line weight, but the result was the same. The odd thing is, is that it occurs only when I am zooming in or out, but different zoom scales affect each image differently (i.e., at one scale one image will show the hidden frame outline, but all the others will appear fine). Also, the images appear to keep changing their overlap as I zoom in and out (our aerials overlap each other just slightly in order to achieve a seamless appearance).
