Recover backup of Revit Central or Local File

Today I erased some viewports from a drawing sheet but did not mean to erase them permanently. My intent was to undo the changes after I took a screen shot of the sheet. I got distracted and then proceeded to STC and exit Revit. The changes stuck...

I tried to locate some backup files in the local folder but none were there. I also worked with the journal file to retrace my steps and recover the file before the STC. Nothing has worked and now I'm stuck. Any suggestions?

You can go to File>Backups and roll back to previous saved version.
