Loading standard linetypes - Bad definition

The guy sitting behind me is having a problem with loading standard line types principally those involving shapes eg fence1 and batting.

Looking through some other threads I have made sure that text style standard is ok and have had a look at (findfile"ltypeshp.shx") at it found the file with the correct path. But if I type shape I only get simplex.shx.

How do I repath to ltshape.shx.

I don't think you should have to. Where is your " ltshape.shx"? It should be in AutoCAD's search path (date/time approx to "ltshape.shp"?).

Make sure the "ltypeshp.shx" file that is found by doing a (findfile "ltypeshp.shx") actually contains the shapes that are being referenced by the LIN file.
