The answer is to save the student version file to an earlier release in .dxf format, and then open that in your paid version of autocad, then save back to the current year version in .dwg. This removes the student "contamination" and allows you to continue. Using Autocad 2014, saved to 2000 dxf, then back to 2014 .dwg.

    Best,

    JP.

    That will solve it, guaranteed.

That "hack" isn't really necessary any longer since 2014 SP1 and later will not show the stamp, and 2015 and later will remove the stamp altogether.

It's not very often anymore, but I have some work I need to get caught up on.
At work I am running a licensed version of Autocad and Autocad Raster Design 2015. At home I have a educational version of Autocad and Raster Design 2015. If I open my work drawing will the student version pollute my file with the educational stamp?

You'll be smarter to use Draftsight (free-to-use-for-any-purpose) as a DWG editor at home. that will eliminate any concerns about polluting your draings with a EDU stamp, and keep you legal
