Default curtain wall mullion - cuting curtain panels

Hey - it says in the curtain wall mullion profile that "Curtain Panels are trimmed to where the profile sketch intesects the center (Front/Back) ref plane."

This is not true. I've had many instances where it isn't true... can anyone tell me what is true about how panels are cut?

Here's a sample file - see the inside corners - can any one tell me how to make this work without drafting over the top of something that doesn't work?

Reply from factory is that this just isn't possible. I was hoping something new snuck into 9 or 9.1. Any workarounds out there folks?

My current workaround is to set up the curtain wall so that location line of the wall is the ext. face of glass, so they join up correctly, then making a custom component that looks like the mullion and placing it separate from the curtain wall.

When 3D isn't an issue, i just drop a detail component over it.

You can swap out the curtain panels on the edges with one that allows you to extend the panel edge.

    That's an interesting idea...
I suppose i could make a panel that INCLUDES the mullion as well....
That opens up some new possiblities that i hadn't thought of before...Always helps to check your assumptions...
