Default Stretch box on both sides equally

we have a block that we use for labeling vav boxes, i would like to make it to where the box on both ends stretch at the same time. the reason i want to make stretchable is , that the engineers do not realize that we do not have much room with HVAC drafting. i have tried look at the white pages on dynamic blocks, just can't find the information i am looking for, any help would be grateful.

Can you post a picture or a drawing with the block inserted? Someone may be able to point you in the right direction then.

I think a similar discussion is also going on in this current thread: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?t=50116

    step 1: create box

step 2: make box into block

step 3: Open BE and create linear parameter from one ond of box to the other.

step 4: set grips to 0 - make sure that chain actions is set to no as it is not necessary here.

step 5: stretch action on one side of box connected to stretch grip. angle offset is 0, distance multiplier is 1

step 6: second stretch action for other side of box. when it asks you to select parameter point to associate with action, select main grip. When it asks for first and second corners of stretch frame, do so for the other side of the box. select appropriate lines.

step 7: angle offset to 180 and distance multiplier to remain at 1.

step 8: stand on chair and do a jig cuz you're DONE.

LOVED the one grip with the 180 Angle Offset. I have attached a block.
