Default AutoCAD 2002 - Wipeouts appear as outline boxes

I am having problem in which I am not sure how to fix. I can use the Wipout or text mask command and have no problems. The next time I boot up AutoCad, the Wipouts are not working and there is boxes around where the Wipeouts should be. When I go to use the Wipout command, it fixes all of the old Wipouts. It seems as if something isn't loading when I boot up. Anyone have any ideas?

Unforunatly we are running AutoCad 2002 where I am at. We also have an IT guy who, for some odd reason, likes to diasble commands. I am not sure if this is something he disabled or just something acting up with AutoCad. Thanks...

It appears that your Express Tools are not fully loading at startup.

    Hi

Take a look at the following thread...

Where can I find the "acwipeout.arx" file? I searched my C drive and it isn't on there anywhere. I take it this must be something our IT guy either didn't load or deleted. Everyone in the office is having the same problem. Thanks...

    Hi

In AutoCAD 2002 ( the version you are using ), I believe Wipeout is part of Express Tools ( as Opie stated above ).

I know "acwipeout.arx" is the correct name of the file in AutoCAD 2005 and above, and does not come with Express Tools - seeing as the Wipeout command moved from being an Express Tools command to a core AutoCAD command in AutoCAD 2004.

Therefore "acwipeout.arx" might not be the correct name in AutoCAD 2002 Express Tools. Try looking in the Express directory / folder under your AutoCAD 2002 installation for something similar...

I found it on my computer. It was called wipeout.arx without the ac. Not sure if the name had been change or if this is the name of the file on 2002. Thanks...
