Default Does Design Review offer better font handling capabilities than DWF Viewer?

Does Design Review offer better font handling capabilities than Viewer? I've had problems with capturing fonts, which, I believe, is because Autocad will not capture copyright protected fonts. The only way I can be assured that fonts will travel with my dwf files is to set font handling to capture all as geometry. This makes the file larger. The file also opens and prints slower. There has to be a better way.

    Hi

The following blog posts by Scott Sheppard may offer some help / guidance...

    DWF display obeys ClearType setting

When does ClearType apply to my DWF?

    Have a good one, Mike

    Thanks Mike.

The first artical confirms my fear the this is a copyright issue. I guess I need to find an architectural font that isn't copyright protected. Capture all as geometry makes the dwf file too large, slows down publishing and slows down Viewer, Composer and Ddesign Review too.

I am not a fan of capture as geometry. I think the text looks choppy. The font engines of most operating systems do a better job of rendering text.

Autodesk Design Review and the Autodesk DWF Viewer are the same in many ways. Autodesk Design Review adds capabilities like markup, measurement, and batch printing. But for things like file loading and rendering, we code once and use twice!
