Linetype Generation in C3D Objects

Is there a way to turn on Linetype Generation in Civil 3D objects?

I want to use the hidden2 linetype for my existing ground profile but it looks bad because the dashes are very long and irregular.

I did a little more research and it appears this is a known deficiency/bug. Dynamic profiles honor the linetype gen and look good; however, static profiles do not.

I notice I couldn't find an option for turning on linetype generation in Survey Figures. Is it missing from there, too?

linetype gen is not working for us in Dynamic.
