    Default Monolithic Stair

Have a monolithic stair in my file and I designed it with 12" treads but when I draw a detail through it to detail it and I dimension the treads from nose to nose it only shows the tread being 10". So I thought if I changed it from a 12" tread to a 14" tread that it would automatically work but then it wont show any treads or risers. I need 12" treads, any ideas out there on how to make this work?

sorry i was thinking about the file with the stair in it. from your settings it appears correct, but i was thinking there might be something in how you created the stair that i could look at.

If you go an edit your sketch you will see that your thread have 10", move them 2" and then your section will report 12.75" (the .75" being the slanted part)
What you are showing is the minimum but not the actual thread depth. That depth is define in sketch mode from the Stair properties by the Actual Thread Depth value.
