Default Multiline Text Editor truncating imported text file

I'm pasting text into MTEXT box and it says:
"You are attempting to insert more text than is allowed in this editor; text may be truncated."
where it proceeds to paste only a portion of the clip. Specifically, we're talking about a 50kb .txt file worth of text.

Is there a way to work around this?

That's a lot of text. I didn't know that there was a limit on that. Seems there is.

Look at the RTEXT command in the Express Tools. That'll be helpful especially if your source text is already in a .txt format.

I tried RTEXT. It inserts text directly from the .txt file. However, it is limited to 32k in size as well and doesn't give a warning that the text will be truncated.

Thanks for the replies. I will have to not use AutoCAD for this project. If I find a solution (besides splitting up the files) I will post it.

Another thing I tried was to directly drag the .txt file into Model Space. The message it gives is "Text too long. 117998 characters will be truncated." So atleast it tells you how much will be truncated.
