    Default Inventor symbols

I know by holding <alt> followed by 0216 gives you a diameter symbol in text but is there a "shortcut" for a degree symbol? Thanks!

I assume you in one of the text areas that does not have the Insert Symbol button. (It usually is a button with a degree symbol and a pull-down arrow.) The button's pull-down menu offers most of the useful symbols as well as the Character Map. It is handy and lets me save my remaining memory cells for something else.

Simply open a dimension edit, and use the symbol dialogue box therein.
Cut the symbol you want to windows clipboard & paste it into your text line.
