    Default Change Railing Base Level

I have a level that I no longer need and would like to delete it. Unfortunately there are some elements that are associated with it that would disappear if I deleted it. I have been able to change the base level of every element except some stair railings. The stairs are associated with the level that will be staying but I cannot change the base level of the railings. Re hosting them to the stair does not work and the base level in the properties is greyed out. If it were a simple railing I would remake it, but it is a complicated curved railing. Besides, I want to know how to do this.

Just cut and then paste it to the correct level.

Sounded like it would work but the railing maintains the same base level association.

Edit the sketch and re-associate the sketch line - not the finished rail.

I have edited and rehosted; cut and pasted same place. It still maintains its original level association.
What finally worked was to copy the railing to the clipboard, delete the level and paste the railing in the same place.
