    Default Wall Hosted Fixtures

I created a wall hosted plumbing fixture.....works fine...but when I place it, it hosts itself to the core of the wall and not the Finish...How can I redefine to make it connect to finish layer

    Thanks

Did you try flexing the wall in the Wall Hosted Family Template when you built it? Remember, if you build it "against the wall" in the template, that doesnt mean it will stay locked to the face of the wall. Go in to the wall properties in the template, and make it a thicker wall. Does your fixture move out to compensate? If not, then it wont work in the project environment either.

There is a reference plane in the template called "wall face." Make your elements constrained to that Ref Plane, and it should work.

Let me know if that helps.
