My File Open dialog box is missing the options on the pulldown for Partial Open and ReadOnly. Any ideas on what went haywire and how to restore the choices?
I'm running LDT 2006 and LDT Enabled Map, and am not sure if that matters or not.

The file may be in AutoCAD version 2000 or lower. Partial open does not work on pre-2002 format files.

In this case all the drawings have either been created, or edited and saved, in LDT 2006/Map3d 2006.
However, I believe that I've identified the issue -- on initial open at program startup, LDT will not offer any options in the dialog box for read-only or partial open. Once a drawing has been opened, even the blank Drawing1.dwg, then the additional options are available.

I've never found a way to open drawings read-only or partial open using any version of LDT. This would be very useful. Where is this at? Are you using the AECOPEN command (the one that requires you to select a project)?
Jeff Paulsen
Not, not AECOpen, just the regular Open command -- and the options for partial open or read-only are _only_ available after a drawing has been opened. They are not available on initial program start-up
The AECopen dialog does not offer the options
