Default Lineweights in Floating Viewports Plot light...

I am having issues with 3-D drawings/Layouts using version 2007. I try plotting in monochrome and dimensions plot correctly (in paper space), but the lines from the viewports do not. The lines are all dotted and very light in appearance. Even in the preview plot, the lines either show lightly or for hidden lines (green in color) show as green. Any thoughts as what is causing this issue. I am using the default setting for layers (same thing we have been doing for the last 9 years without issues)..... Thanks.

Is there a shaded plot setting in the plot dialogue causing this?

Shade plot is greyed out and it says "As displayed" (but cannot change it)...

could you post a print screen of your plot dialog box, so we would be able to see if you might be overlooking something?

Sounds to me like the plot routine is trying to make a greyscale of a coloured line, make sure that all your pens are set to pen 7 and they will plot out in solid black.

Thumbs up Re: Lineweights in Floating Viewports Plot light...

Scott had pointed me in the right direction- I pulled up other (older) drawings and they were plotting correctly. I found that I had to change the "Shade plot" mode from "As Displayed" to "Hidden". To do this I had to turn the viewport layer on, use the "mview" command, type "shadeplot", change to "hidden", finally selecting on each of the viewports to display them correctly. Once this was done I was able to plot correctly.... Thanks for the tips on trying to correct this for me.
