    Default NUMERING MANHOLES

I am trying to create, in the text component editor, a style where my manholes are numbered sequentially like so: STMH1, STMH2, STMH3, etc., etc. Can anyone tell me how to type the code in the "text component editor" to make this happen?

    EDIT: nevemind I got it: STMH<[Next Counter(CP)]>

The "STMH<[Next Counter(CP)]>" should be used as the naming template for the structures as they're being created. The label style can access this as the structure "name". It can't supply the naming/numbering.

If the structures already exist, then it's too late to implement the naming template for those structures and there is no rename/renumber for structures like there is for parcels. Fix the names manually in the network panorama view. Then use the label style that pulls the "Name" property of the structure.

another problem I am having involves the stationing. I'm trying to label my manholes in the profile and we like to add the stationing to our labels. I am using this "(STA. <[Structure Station(Um|FS|P2|RN|AP|Sn|TP|B3|EN|W0|OF)]>)" but only 1 out of 5 of my manholes is actually showing me the stationing, the rest simply say "STA. ???"

    Any ideas about this one?

    Thanks!

The structures need to have a reference alignment set . Go to the properties of the structure to set it.

When creating a pipe network one of the things that need to be set is an alignment to reference. This alignment name gets passed on to the structures. You can, and will need to, change this network alignment as you branch off to other alignments. Changing it will only affect the new structures as they'll inherit the alignment set in the network properties at the time they were created.

I can't believe I couldn't find that yesterday. I looked for that setting under the structure properties several times and didn't see it...look today and there it is plain as day....thanks!
