    Crop regions in drafting views

Importing dwgs (from Autocad model space) into revit, would like to crop them - sites, location planse etc, this would be very useful for me.......

It would also basically give us model space and paper space if we could duplicate a view with a linked dwg and have different crop regions in the duplicated views....

Seemingly that is what the free rotate command for photoshop is for, or perhaps you could embed a jpeg in an AutoCAD drawing and link the dwg. I think dwgs allow for rotation of images, but it's a long long time since I had to look.

I ended up using Corel to do the rotating but i would've preferred to do it all in revit, especially considering i needed to overlay multiple images at different rotations. Which in the end proved to time consuming. I took the easy way out and created an image map on my roof using the image and then did a render. Took a while considering the file was 180MB!!

I would like to free rotate images in Revit as well ~ would be very useful for imported maps / drawings etc ~ rotating in another program does not allow for easy alignment
