Default How to turn off balloon tips in Autocad dialog boxes?

I just installed 2014 and when I hover my mouse over text in a dialog box, an annoying balloon tip appears (see image). They are obtrusive and annoying! I changed a bunch of windows registry values (per Google search) thinking that would clear it up, but it didn't work. I assume they are cad specific, but I'm not sure? Anyone know how to disable these? Thanks in advance!

Try Options --> Display --> uncheck "show tooltips"

    or set tooltips to 1
