Printing Problem

We just purchased a new printer. However when I use my old printer settings for the different size sheets we use they aren't matching up. I know this has to do with the printer as well. But shouldn't an ARCH C size print out the same no matter what printer is printing it?

The Printer in question is an HP design jet 500. We use to use the 400.

Wellll printers and their drivers are some of the most commonly misunderstood beasts on this planet If their margins are different, you'll have to tweak your setups to get the same results, or comparable ones. We have a Xerox 510dp and we can print a 15" wide sheet (or long, whichever way you look at it) to a 21" roll from Acad just fine. When we try to do the same thing to the same printer BUT through the Windows driver in Revit (no pc3 file pointing to a specific port in Revit like in Acad), the page won't fit and gets clipped. We had to go to 17" wide plots for half sizes instead, which is a wasted 2" per plot that we do. We couldn't figure out a way to make this work.
