Default VLIDE and AutoCAD not Functioning Together

I think I might have changed a setting somewhere, but I don't know where. My AutoCAD and VLIDE used to work fine together. Now to switch back to autocad with vlide open I have to click on the Activate AutoCAD button and to bring VLIDE back up, I have to type in VLIDE. I used to be able to just click on the taskbar minimized program to switch. It just doesnt work anymore.

I've always noticed strange behavior between VLIDE and AutoCAD. About 1/2 of the time, switching back to the VLIDE requires typing VLIDE at the command line - ever though it's plainly open on monitor #2.

Jepp.. sometimes [Alt] [Tab] to AutoCAD and then type Vlide on the Command line
has rescued me from killing the AutoCAD process in the taskbar. . .

    : ) Happy Computing !

I dont quite follow, if VLIDE is open, I can not do anything in AutoCAD until Vlide is closed, or I use the Activate AutoCAD button, then if AutoCAD is active, and I switch to VLIDE, I get a funny looking mouse cursor that has the top left quadrant of the standard autocad cursor with some () in it. and I cant exit vlide until I go back to AutoCAD, type in VLIDE, it switches and then I can close VLIDE, but until I do, I cant do anything in AutoCAD

I cant post a copy of the cursor, when I do a print screen, it doesnt show up

Do you have the "Autoactivate AutoCAD" checked? This can be found under Tools -> Environment Options -> General Options.

    Mine is currently checked.

That was exactly what it was, somehow I must have accidently unchecked it.

I was guessing that was the problem. Glad to know that was it.
