Default Rotate objects to match other objects

I want to rotate an object to match the angle of another object without having to pull dims or do math.
I remember reading about this recently, and I even remember doing it. But can't find my notes where I wrote the command down, or remember where I read it. My search yielded nothing. Can someone refresh my memory?

Can you use the Reference and Points options of the Rotate command?
If you have a technical question, please find the appropriate forum and ask it there.
You will get a quicker response from your fellow AUGI members than if you sent it to me via a PM or email.

That worked for my situation today, but I thought there was another one-step way to do it.
Maybe it was a lisp routine I downloaded from another forum. I'll have to search my library.

For some objects you can use the properties manager and copy and paste rotation angles.

Now that is "deep". Good point

I tend to stay away from the properties manager.
Getting lost in the tables takes longer than using commands.

I should use it more often. There is more than
one way to skin a cat!

For text entities incl. attributes there is the "torient" command that has saved me hours since out found out about here first at AUGI.

For blocks use _refedit. Any changes (including the rotation) you make to the block will be reflected to the all of the same blocks anywhere in the drawing when you save the changes.

Thanks for all the replies. I think the Align command is what I was looking for. I'll explore the others as situations come up.

ALIGN command is the tops. You can also scale to whatever you are aligning to (really fast way to scale to other objects!)
