    Question Updating Text Mask once Text has been edited

    Text mask is made. then text is changed and mask remains where the text used to be. cant get rid without creating new layout. help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hi,

    Try setting the PICKSTYLE system variable to 1 or 3. Please post back if it works or not.

    I would try Unmask Text in the Express Tools to get rid of the mask, then if need be remask the text to account for the increase, or decrease in size

    perhaps using wipeout to turn on the frame?

    FYI:
    Tim was right. Set PICKSTYLE to 1 or 3 and it solves that problem.

    try the background mask in mtext instead of text mask.
