Sorting Schedules

I have been trying to figure out how to get a schedule to sort properly. One of the things we draw is the wall framing for each wall in every house we build. I found a schedule that I've been using but it won't sort the pieces in each wall by length. Any Ideas? I've attached a dwg file with a sample wall.

It is sorting, it is just sorting based on the last digit of the fraction. You would need to add an extra column to the schedule that uses a property set def driven by a decimal property data format and hide the column in the schedule and then sort the schedule based on the new column.

Hi Rob,

I have modified your drawing implementing Steve's suggestion.

I added another column and added the unformatted length. I then sorted by this column and set this column to hide.
