    Default links and link templates

This maybe a newbie question.Do I have to make the link template in order to link text and an object in the same drawing? If so is there a set of procedures that would help me out?
    thanks

Yes, first attach the data source
    then create the link template
then generate the links to the data
source. Once these steps are done
save the drawing and use it as a source
    to perform your queries.

All of these functions are available thru
righ-click operations in the MAP workspace.
