how to get standard ready fastners

hi to all

here i m working on one of the project on inventor 9
where i need some ready made standard channels, angles, different size fastneres,
etc.

i know all this materials are easily available in mechanical desktop.
but i can not find in inventor.
so can somebody help me for this. so i need not to transfer projects from mechanical desktop to inventor.

Ashish,

I'm going by memory only (I'm using IV11SP2), but I believe that if you are in the assembly environment, you can click on the "Model" pull down at the top of the browser, and there should be a "library" option. The library in IV 9 should have most of the shapes you're looking for.

There are also resources such as www.cbliss.com that have structural iParts for a variety of shapes.

that is exactly correct, but it anly work in assembly mode offcourse

also in your project file - under folder options - it should meantion the content center files lokation
