    Default Civil - Parking Stalls

This .dwg has 2 parking stall blocks with a field that will count the spaces. One will let the field text rotate with the block, the other keeps it right reading. There are 4 vis states and 2 stretch commands. One to increase the number of spaces, and one to increase the depth from 18' to 20' in increments of 6".
Credit goes to jnyazz since I modeled my block after his.
    Enjoy!

Did I miss something? When I use the block it doesn't count - number is always 2 regardless of length and qty of stalls shown.

Pretty handy. It could use an Align property though. I tried adding one and it worked well but had a couple issues when inserting it into my drawing so I'm not posting it here but if anyone else with more Dynamic Block experience would be up for that modification.....

Another state that would be usefull would be turning off the curbs on the end stalls but I'll give that one a shot myself.

    Thanks for the block!

post it in here when you do! it's nice to keep the progression of a block in one place...

Sorry, I haven't been here in a long while. I noticed the same problems, sometimes you need curbs, sometimes you don't. I also have a problem using this with handicap parking. I have a dynamic block for a handicap space with striping, but since the spaces are 16' wide (8' stall and 8' striped area), they don't line up with a 9' or 10' wide parking stall. I haven't been able to figure a fix for that yet. Also, sometimes I don't need the radii at one end or the other. Usually when I have a dumpster pad next to the parking. Short of adding even more viz states, which I really don't want to do, I don't know how to fix that problem either.

At least the block is a good staring point!

Hey! That DB is pretty cool. I think with a little modification (to make it match VDOT regs), it could work for us here. Thanks!
