    Default ABS Electrical Annoyances

This is on ABS 2007, not 2007.1 (For those who bother to look at sigs).

For some reason when wiring objects together, if I use the "xxx" modify dialogue, it will switch what layer the object was on to the wiring layer I'm currently using. I've tried locking the layers, but then I can't modify the object to change the wattage or what circuit it's on. I'd really like this to stop as it's a huge nuisance and makes it impossible for me to plot without matchproping the objects back to what they should be so the existing/demo/new/relocated objects come out properly.

Sounds like a layer key issue to me. Check out your electrical systems to see if they have layer keys assigned to them. If they do either change the key to put things on the correct layers or remove the layer key. If this doesn't fix the problem post back and we'll go to plan B.

Some see the glass as half full, others as half empty. As an engineer I see the glass as twice as big as it needs to be. ~Unknown~
