SSM Preview vs. Select File Dialog Box Preview

the issue i have is that the preview box in the Select File dialog box updates with out a problem so if i select File> Open the preview is correct. but if i open the SSM the preview is for some of the drawings is correct, some are old and some just don't show at all.

I have selected both Save a Thumbnail Preview Image, & Generate Sheet, Sheet View & Model View Thumbnail on the Options> Open and Save menu.

and Rasterpreview is set to 1.

Is this a AutoCAD bug or is there some other item i have not looked at?
